Senior Analyst

SUMMARY:  The Senior Analyst will be a part of a dynamic group that works closely with our Avel eCare product partners to develop modern data-driven analysis, dashboards and reports. The Sr. Product Analyst is expected compile data that aligns with key product and ad-hoc metric insights for analysis of Avel eCare product strategies used to inform product decisions. Applicants should be passionate about data, visualization, and solving complex problems.

 

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:  

  • Evaluate utilization, productivity, and performance outcomes for Avel eCare’s products and services. Deliver data driven insights, new product evaluations, and customer experience measurement.
  • Develop reports, presentations, data visualization views, and summary findings utilizing appropriate product analytic tools to meet the needs of Avel eCare stakeholders. Maintain standard, product driven reporting to promote each Avel product.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify Key Performance Indicators and performance metrics suitable to each Avel product. Monitors product performance and shares insights with leaders.
  • Perform market research and collect customer and market feedback on new products. Provides data driven recommendations on new product launches. 
  • Support assigned research and evaluation projects, partnering effectively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver appropriate data and analysis.
  • Utilize project management tools to drive team performance and cross-team coordination. Regularly review and update the team’s roadmap.
  • As assigned, serve as the liaison between Avel Product Analytics and other analysts and stakeholders to collaborate and support management of the product analytics workflows to ensure internal consistency across Avel eCare.
  • Support efforts to improve the day-to-day systems for Avel eCare, Product Analytics, and other related stakeholders. Streamline work processes with system solutions, maximize innovations and work collaboratively to provide quality seamless systems functionality and capability.
  • Understand the opportunities and limits of the available data sets. Recommend enhancements to the data collection tools to improve visibility of product performance. Work with data source owners as assigned to correct source data as necessary and facilitate communication of those changes to end users of the system and product data. 
  •  Ensures consistent use of data within source dictionaries.  Works with Product Analytics leadership to address source data discrepancies when identified and coordinates resolution with the appropriate Data Analyst team leaders or other source data owners.  


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master's degree preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience required.
  • Knowledge of health care delivery system and/or product analytics reporting preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office; strong analytical and computational skills.
