Operations Support Coordinator - Behavioral Health Services

Exempt Status: Non-Exempt (hourly)

Department: eCare Behavioral Health Services

Schedule: Part Time (48 hours/2 weeks, 0.6 FTE)


The eCare Operations Support Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the administrative procedures needed to facilitate daily clinical operations of the Avel eCare Service Line. This position coordinates operations of the eCare Service Line as outlined below.


  • Participate in the implementation and education of policy and procedure for operational and clinical workflow to ensure compliancyFacilitate calls and encounter flow and communication between nursing staff and providers. 

  • Work in conjunction with Clinical Informaticist to manage access and chart validation  in patient EMRs for best quality practices.  

  • Answer phones and conduct equipment connectivity testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.  This includes filing IT tickets, following up on issues, education to other employees, working with individual site personnel, communicating with IT personnel, etc. 

  • Assist with implementation tasks and go-live events.  

  • Assist with coordination of management of provider and nurse scheduling and communication  

  • Coordinate and track on-demand assessment to facilitate efficient workflowCall transfer facilities to assist with finding placement treatment for patients. 

  • Receives data and inputs information into various computer systems, databases, and spreadsheets as directed.  Performs duties in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.   

  • Performs generalized secretarial duties in an accurate and timely manner to include, but not limited to: create and update site books, organize and tidy BH hub, professional interaction on the phone and camera, makes copies of products as requested, assemble, and distribute information as directed.    

  • Performs tasks, as directed by supervisor/director, to assist in efficient operation of the Service Line.  

  • Assist with internal and external customer service. Facilitate communication with service line. 


· Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred; 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.


· This position requires a valid driver’s license and that the employee is insurable by the Avel automobile liability insurance carrier.
